Combining natural and dark contrasting tones with a skip-sawn texture, these narrow herringbone blocks with sap pack your project with antique-feel character. We used 20mm rustic grade European oak to craft Rydal.
Rustic grade oak allows a virtually limitless size and a number of knots, no maximum sap, and colour variation throughout. These may be narrow blocks but they are built to last using 20mm thick oak with a 6mm wear layer, and have a hard wax oil finish, which is durable, natural, and unrivaled.
It combines oils that deeply penetrate the wood’s pores with a hard wax that is polished to a deep patina. Rydal is FSC certified so you can buy it knowing that it is sustainably sourced from well-managed forests. It can also be used with underfloor heating.
