Website Administrator Required
We are a long established flooring and interiors retailer, selling through three retail stores and two websites. Both sites require continual development and updating.
Established in 1908 and situated in three sites in Nottingham.
Exciting times are ahead so we are looking for someone who would be able to take instruction from our Web manager. We would need someone full-time who is prepared to learn fast and perhaps take on a more senior role in the future. We are a small but happy team. We love what we do and are looking to employ a creative individual to further develop the web side of the business.
Whoever we employ would need the most if not some of the following skills:
- Working knowledge of image editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, GIMP, etc.)
- Basic html & Adobe Dreamweaver
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Full knowledge of MS Office environment with emphasis on MS Excel
- Good knowledge of Wordpress
They would be responsible for:
- General website maintenance
- Full use of our proprietary website operating system (training given)
- Addition / Categorisation of new products
- Website image design (Thumbnails, banners and possibly some photography)
- Updating blog with articles from the marketing team
- Social media campaign management
This person would need to be able to liaise with the marketing team but also be self-motivated and work well independently once they feel comfortable and trained enough to do so. Knowledge of the retail industry would be useful, but not essential.
